Lonsdale Street Paving Update

VicUrban will soon commence laying the first slabs of granite paving as part of Lonsdale Street’s $20 million transformation.

Granite paving has been carefully selected for the new Lonsdale Street because it looks great, is hard wearing and easy to look after.

Prior to mid-December, VicUrban will pave a 60 metre section of Lonsdale Street’s footpath and service lane, on the western side between the Dandenong Hotel and 221 Lonsdale Street.

The eight active retailers in this area will remain open for business as usual during the paving works. There will be a temporary reduction of car parking in the service lane; however convenient parking will be available in the nearby Pultney Street.
